Still Ferguson. Still Eric Garner. Still adolescents being shot to death for having toy guns. Still claims of voting fraud. Still income inequality and poverty and hunger. Still shortfalls in education and extreme disparities in health. A black President, but from one party, still so little respect, and still so much hatred. For these and many reasons, we still observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Because much more work still remains to be done.
